Wanderlust, Sweet Wanderlust

I’m leaving for Italy tomorrow and to say that I am terribly excited would be an understatement. It’s only gonna be a very quick getaway from Monday to Wednesday but better going only for a few days than not going at all, right?

wanderlustWhat also pushed the excitement is the fact that I’ve never been to Italy, but been wanting to go since forever, and now I get to see two cities (Venice and Verona) about which I have never heard anything but about their beauty.

Also, with Venice on the verge of sinking I’d better hurry, right?

The main thing I want to do is just get lost in the streets and maybe even get away from the typical tourist routes because I genuinely believe that you can see so much more strolling off route.

Obviously I (once again) have a severe case of wanderlust, and I just wanted to give a quick update on what’s been on my mind and what I’ve been doing (next to suffering silently (or not so silently) as a fever struck me down).
Stay tuned for snaps!

All the love,

Sounds like a great experience. Italy has a lot to offer. I’m sure you are gonna enjoy this journey! 🙂

  2. Be careful, Italy is so easy to fall head over heels in love with, and one becomes obsessed with returning. …oh, and you should have no issues getting lost in Venice! Happy travels!
